- Measure bare thighs while in a standing position.
- Start from inside your thighs at about 1 inch below your crotch.
- Measure the true circumference of your thighs at THIS level. Not too tight, not too loose. We already calculated the elasticity of the fabric into our sizing.

How do I know I measured correctly?
Double check with our Pants Size Tips here. If you usually wear size L (10-12) in pants/skirts, most likely your bands size would be size L (C Large 25-26") too, unless your thighs are smaller than your hips (thinner thighs). In this case you need to size down.

How do I properly wear my bands?
- Slide the bands up to the very top of your legs.
- First place bands on the inside of your thighs as close to the crotch area as possible.
- Adjust the rest of the band around the thighs at THIS level.
- Make sure the bands are placed UNDER the “Smiling line” in the back to prevent bands from rolling by the push of the buttocks while walking.
*Don’t use lotions or powder as it affects silicone adhering to the skin.

I am a size 8 pant from American Eagle and weigh 140 lbs. I ordered a size 23-24” without properly measuring my thighs so I was nervous they wouldn’t fit, but the size is perfect! I’m currently in South Korea and had them shipped to me here. They came in 6 weeks. This product seriously changes everything when it come to wearing dresses and skirts! I’ve spent years wearing shorts under skirts or avoiding them because I have large thighs. I like to walk and dance so it’s not fat, but that doesn’t make it less awkward. These are a blessing. They have a gel-like tape(the sort of stuff you find on thigh stockings that stay up)that works beautifully. The lace is of excellent quality. Buy a set and give them a whirl!

I saw an advertisement for Bandelettes and was instantly skeptical, because I have tried several other things to stop the chafe and nothing has ever worked. So I ordered a pair, and I am officially a believer! I have worn them under many different dresses and worn them for the full day several times – long walks, hot weather, etc They have never moved a bit and have been incredibly comfortable and breathable the whole time. I love that they are not shape wear, but they do the job that they are designed to do, which is to stop the chafe. They are awesome and I am telling all my girlfriends about them!

I’ve always had some shapely, rounded thighs, but recent weight gain of at least 20 pounds during quarantine made them lovingly touch each other even more. Even short walks in my neighborhood in the hot and humid southeast have me painful rashes for days. I tried sprays, lotions, and friction-reducing sticks. They worked to some degree, but I had to keep reapplying, which is very awkward to do when other people are around.
A Facebook group, Travel Fashion Girls, recommended giving Bandelettes a try. I got the Unisex in the light color and the Dolce in black and beige. I measured carefully twice, a week apart, to insure I wasn’t mis-measuring from natural weight fluctuations.Since receiving them, I’ve been hiking on a portion of the North Carolina Mountains to Sea Trail and I’ve twice been non-electric tent camping for 4-5 days at a time. There is absolutely, positively no way I could have done these things without Bandelettes. It wouldn’t have been uncomfortable without them; it would have been excruciatingly painful. My only other choice would have been tight, restrictive long shorts or pants which would have been inappropriately hot for the environment and the fabric between the legs would have worn out quickly.
My Bandelettes held up over miles and miles and miles of hiking with 100% humidity and a heat index of over 100F on many days with almost constant friction. I could hand wash them with a little castile soap and hang them to dry for the next day of hiking or camping. They look almost exactly the same now as when I received them; no noticable pilling, thinning, snags or rips. My husband also thinks they are super cute on me and they remind him of thigh high stockings. That’s just an added bonus.
I really couldn’t have done the things I normally enjoy doing this spring without Bandelettes. I’m sure I’ll wear them into summer, as well. With quarantine and lockdowns across the country, it’s super important to find safe ways to get out into the world, especially when it involves healthy physical exercise and mental wellness. These thigh bands are incredible! I never wear dresses or skirts in the summer, because I hate the chafing on my (very sensitive) skin. I made sure to measure my thighs so I’d get the proper sizing, and these were a DREAM. They stayed in place all day with no slippage or rolling, and my thighs were so happy by the end of the day. No red, angry bumps and rashes to nurse when I got home.

Best purchase ever! I purchased my first pair around 4 years ago and only had to reorder again this month. I loved wearing skirts and dresses when I was younger, but due to my weight I had to begin wearing them less due to the constant rubbing of my thighs and no matter how much I powered through, the aftermath was too painful and not nice looking haha.
